Describe your biggest win at CSS Tec so far.
In my 14 years at CSS, I’ve had a lot of great wins and successes. I enjoy finding success in the small wins- each contributing to the overall success in my role. There have been a few significant wins over the years- my first President’s Club trip, my promotion from Recruiting to an Account Exec and then my promotion to Sales Director in 2020. Each small win is a stepping stone to great success for the CSS TEC Team!
What made you want to join the CSS Tec team?
I was looking to move from Light Industrial Recruiting to a new skill set, and was intrigued by the IT industry. What sealed the deal for me with CSS TEC specifically, was the people and the culture. I learned so much from my managers and team members that helped me develop my technical skills and make an impact quickly!
What’s a go-to tool that makes your life easier from day to day?
I try to maximize all the tools we have available to us. I spend most of my day in my email, Bullhorn and Salesforce.
What culturally stands out about the CSS Tec team that breeds success?
One of the unique qualities of CSS TEC that you don’t always see in our industry, is the sincere desire to see each other succeed. We all want to WIN, and be the best we can, but it’s not in spite of each other or competition against one another. When we win, we know we will only win long term if we all succeed together!
A quote go live by and why it matters to you.
It’ll all work out- We have good and bad days. Candidates have good and bad days. The economy goes up and down. There is only so much that we can control, but if we stay solutions minded, and focus on positively impacting the things we know we can, it’ll all work out. Sometimes that is hard to see in the moment, but it always does.
What’s something about you that we may not know?
I’ve been skydiving 3 times.
Favorite TV Show? Movie? Podcast?!
I love the mysteries behind true crime and I’m a big fan of Crime Junkie Podcast. Crime Junkie does a lot of advocacy work to help the victims of the crimes they cover as well.
If you could be featured on a song of any musical artist, who would it be and why?
There are too many great artists and bands to choose from. I love Rock and Alternative music- anything I could belt out to!
